Salmycin
Each capsules Contains Tetracycline Hcl BP 250 mg Excipients q.s.
Tetracycline is indicated in infections of the ear, nose and throat , respiratory tract, gastro-intestinal tract , liver, genito- urinary tract; veneral diseases.
Tetracycline are broad spectrum antibiotics and are Bacteriostatic. They extract bacteriostatic effect by binding to the 30s Ribosomal subunit of microorganisms, thus inhibiting protein synthesis. They are deposited in growing bone and teeth causing staining and should not be given to children under 12 years or pregnant woman.
The oral dose SALMYCIN 250 mg 4 times daily; Increased to 250 mg 6-8 times daily in sever infections. Not recommended for children under 12 years, or as prescribed by Physician.
Tetracycline is contraindicated in patients hypersensitive to it or other tetracyclines, children under 12 years, pregnant woman., kidney disease, systemic lupus erythematosus.
If a reaction suggesting sensitivity or chemical irritation should occur, use of the medication should be discontinued.
Nursing Mothers: It is not known whether Ketoconazoie cream, 2% administered topically could result in sufficient systemic absorption to produce detectable quantities in breast milk.
Pediatric Use: Safety and effectiveness in children have not been established Ketoconazole cream, 2% is contraindicated in persons who have shown. Hypersensitivity to the active or excipient ingredients of this formulation.
GI disturbance; overgrowth of resistant organisms; photosensitivity and dermatological reactions.
Ketoconazole cream, 2% is not for ophthalmic use.
Store in a cool dry place below 30 C. Protect from light. Keep all medicine out of the reach of children.
