Ytacan Cream
Each gm contains: Clotrimazole U.S.P. 1% W/W q.s Cream base
A) Ytacan cream is mainly a topical treatment of Tinea infection such as Ring worm on the face, neck, scalp, hair, body, groin, hand, feet, soles, nails, trunk and inter-digital webs.
B) It is also effective in candidal infection such as Balanitis, Paronychia, Onychia, Vulvitis, Vulvovaginits, Diaper Rash, Perianal Candidiasis and Erosio Inter Digitalis Blastomycetica.
C) Erythrasma.
D) Otomycosis.
E) Ytacan Cream is also used in treatment of other topical fungal infections.
a) Wash and dry the infected area thoroughly.
b) A sufficient quantity of Ytacan cream should be applied and rubbed over the infected area. Repeat the process 2-3 times daily or prescribed by the Physicians.
c) Wash hands thoroughly after each applications.
It’s preparation is generally well tolerated if local irritation occurs. It may be considered for hyper-sensitivity to clotrimazole. it is usually not severe enough to discontinue treatment and alternative measure adopted.
Ytacan cream is for external use only. Like any other Clotrimazole preparation. Ytacan cream is not intended for opthalmic use, and should be applied with caution when advised to be used around the eyes.
Store in a cool and dark place away from children’s reach.
